I'm posting one of my old (favorite) acrylic paintings from a long time ago. I've always liked this painting. I have a real penchant (sometimes) for images that are graphic instead of realistic. How about you.....do you have two sides? The photo I took of the painting from today is too grainy. I'll retake it and put it up tomorrow.

Ooh, this is lovely! I love the strong face. Nope, I don't think I have two sides. Do I??
Celeste!
Love it!
Reminds me so very much of my buddy El Greco!
The lights and darks are outstanding. The palette, the brush strokes and so much more make this one of my favorites! ( I can't have a favorite. Too limiting!)
Oh, two sides? How about a million?
So glad you posted this gem "from the archives!"
Paint on!
Michael
I wish my archive paintings looked this good. Awesome piece Celeste.
I have many sides I think. :)
Yes, I have problems with my work looking like it is from different genres. It's a shame that as artists we are expected to stick with one direction. I'd advise against that, but as you know, I don't know what I am doing. :)
The painting is bold! I like it.
Yes I have different sides...and they are usually conflicting with each other..until I settle down and start painting...then I'm ok with that direction...for that painting.
I really like this painting. This style allows more of the artist to show through, IMHO.
I see a profile on the right side of the face. Was that intentional?
I like it too. Strong design and brushwork. Another winner!
I remember this one from before. Unique.
I studied this on my side bar--it was tiny and I thought I saw two umbrellas. I really like this. All your sides are wonderful.
Really cool - he looks like rainy weather in a landscape himself! I have so many art personalities that they are going to lock me up!
I recognize this fine face... sort of. He recurred a few times in the past. I think... Makes me wonder how long I've known you. You know?...
