"Silhouettes can be strong or subtle. The design is arrived at through the contrast of various relationships, but the degree of contrast is up to the artist, of course. Here-in lies the infinite possibilities". --- Sergei Bongart

Fine piece.

Thick and gestural. . . I can still smell the paint on this one.

Good work!

Absolutely wonderful. Great linkage with the shapes of the figures and I love the colors in the background too.

I too like the midnight blue distant background. You have such a masterful touch, Celeste. Something so classic about this piece. Too, I am reminded of the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping for some reason. My own mood popping itself into this piece, methinks. Wonderful work!

So much going on here, Celeste. Walkers who cannot move ... but yet somehow manage to. All going somewhere, but do those two recognise her?

Love it!

Very well done. I've been trying to put a few figures into an outdoor scene I've been working on. May have been a mistake. It looks easy but it's not. Your last two posts on the matter have been interesting to me.

Or did I already say that?
Well, she (you) still are.
