Gros bisous.

I so love snowy scenes and the birch tree is just beautiful! I seem to have such a hard time with bark. Can't wait to see what you get up to today.

Linking the darks proves to be a great tool, Celeste! Love this landscape!

I wish I had the patience to leave things alone and go back to put in a few finishing touches. I work at such fever to complete. I so love this painting.

I love the painting. I'm hoping that snow is imaginative though. Linking darks comes naturally to me. It's a gift of nearsightedness. Take out your contacts; it'll come easy. This one's a winner. Beautiful, lovely soft strokes.

Probably my favorite color combination if I had to choose. This is so peaceful and earthy Celeste. I just love it.

Beautiful, cold painting. I think I may have a few of the seven virtues you linked to yesterday (and maybe a few of those seven deadly sins). But, who's perfect?

I found your blog while searching for plein air groups on the Oregon coast. I stumbled upon a link in Wet Canvas from 2004. How awesome is that? Love your work. I live on the coast west of Portland, in Manzanita, and am just starting to paint plein air. Looking forward to exploring your blog a bit more. Thanks! -Renee
