Friday!

I painted at Studio 30 today. This is Alex, a beautiful young woman who stood motionless for 3 hours. To see how the rest of the painters did....go HERE.

Painting: Celeste Bergin, Alex, oil on 16x20 canvas panel

Thanks you for looking at my blog. I thought I'd check out yours. I love the soft, loose way you use oils, you've made me think about m giving it a whirl again one day soon. ( I have a burning ambition to paint Turner's the Fighting Temaraire).

I always enjoy seeing everyone's work. You are so blessed to have a group like that.
Love this one of Alex. She has a lovely, almost wistful expression.

I always enjoy viewing everyone's work, Celeste and always feel the pang of wishing there was a group here like that.
I think you captured the essence of a beautiful young Alex.

This is absolutely beautiful. She is hurt by something he said and is in the process of looking away so as not to show it. I am sure of this.

I love how you painted her, lovely expression. It is nice to see the variety of how other artists saw her too.

She seems to be deep in thought. Thanks for showing us what the group paints; I always enjoy that.
