It would be my preference to be painting during any Apocalypses...so I went to Studio 30 for two sessions today. I didn't finish either painting, but I've got photos if I want to take these further. Hey! The world didn't end....Hooray!
To see what everyone else did at Studio 30 during the Apocalypse that didn't happen....go HERE.

they look finished and fantastic!
Dear Celeste,
Ahahaha, I love your humour. Merry Xmas & Happy New Year! Wish you a health and a fruitful 2013!!
Thank you for blogging and sharing wonderful work.
Let's enjoy art more and more.
Best wishes, Sadami
I painted today too and since the world didn't end, I will be able to view more of your marvelous paintings like these in the future- yay!
One thing I really like about your 'studio' visits, Celeste, is that you give us a rare glimpse of how different artists perceive the same subject at the same moment in time (albeit apocalyptic time). Really interesting, and it will be as interesting to see if you further develop these two ... end of the world notwithstanding!
Celeste,
I very much enjoy your blog! I love your art and your writing.
Thanks for sharing!
Michael
Love the portrait piece especially. A nice point of view on it. Glad the world didn't end too. I hate to die knowing that all those Christmas presents were a waste of money. LOL

I love LOVE LOVE your use of color. Your still life is fabulous and the sitting woman is alive. I wouldn't have realized these weren't finished because they both look so good!
I also enjoy seeing the other artist's work, the different view points and styles. Thank you for sharing. It takes time and energy to do so and you do it so well.
If you do not finish a painting on the day of the apocalypse, that means that the worldd certainly cannot end. An unfinished painting can hardly be tolerated in the cosmos. I love the painting of Elizabeth - can you finish without her there?
FELIZ NAVIDAD, QUERIDA CELESTE!
ABRAZOS DESDE CHILE.
Elizabeth is fantastic. I'm glad you're still there and painting.
