Thursday!

Here is a plein air painting I took to Thursday Morning Art Discussion

.....and this is a photo of Michael Fisher with Tim Young's painting on a halved squash (yes...you read all that right)..... it is simply too good not to include.  To see all the paintings that showed up for discussion.....go HERE.

(Top Photo) Painting: Celeste Bergin, Blustery day, oil on 8x10 canvas panel

Wow! What a squash! Amazing! It took a while to separate the painting from the actual face!
Love the plain air landscape. The brush strokes and the muted areas. Spectacular Celeste!

Oh that plein aire piece is just beautiful, Celeste! Lovely balance between distance mountain and the trees too. Love the painting on the gourd half.

The landscape is a perfect blend of impressionism and Celeste. I love it and what fun the "squash" painting. Will it remain hard or deteriorate?
