Tuesday

I had plans to paint another cow painting today....but I wound up royally screwing it up and scraping it off....(Dang! and here I had visions of cranking out successful cows left and right, but moooooo...I mean noooooo ). Though it's never fun to invest time and have nothing to show for it,  I know that this is how it is sometimes. Tomorrow is another day. I had a good time sketching in pencil later....at Bon Teriyaki, a nice place for lunch.

Well, I'd give a lot to be able to sketch so beautifully, Celeste! I seem to have such issues transferring 3 dimensions to one. Sigh...probably why I like working from photos; it does the flattening for me.

OMG, at first glance, I thought that was a drawing I had done while waiting for a friend at a restaurant. Salt and pepper shakers are handy still lifes--throw in the sugar dish and the composition explodes with interest. Sorry about your cows, but mama said...trouble is, she didn't say how many days like this there would be. Part of the process.

I confess, it makes me feel better to know that you have a scraper every now and then. I like your attitude. The drawing looks certain.

I admire your resilience and that no day it's left without at least a drawing. Great cow!
