I got sort of a delayed start during the model session today.... This is as far as I got when time was suddenly up! The time just flew by. I'll just leave it here and consider it a good oil sketch.
In the morning I painted in the still life session. I worked on this painting that I started weeks ago. Someone added some new fruit to the set up, (which seemed an improvement), so I made those changes. I may work on this again next time.

Vos couleurs sont ensorceleuses et jouent agréablement ensemble. Une très belle oeuvre.

I have to say that this fruit still life is one of the few times that I'm really over the moon about a fruit painting! It is just truly stunning, Celeste. Please don't paint over this one! Or if you find you want to sell it...you know who to call first!

It is a lovely portrait sketch as you call it. You can always work on it further in your own time. And please finish off this lovely still life work. Some one may add another fruit to the set up !

I like how you paint figures, still life and landscape. For myself I have not been able to muster that type of devotion. This still life seems done to me. What else would you do to it?
