Tuesday!

This is just some plein air practice from Sandy Delta Park. The "Delta" comprises 1400 acres of wilderness trails, nestled between I-84, the Sandy River, and the Columbia River. It is also a dog park, so you'd better love dogs if you wind up here! I'm a cat person, but a former dog person, so for me it is fun to see the pooches frolic here. I imagine for a dog it is pure heaven....because most of the park is designated "off-leash".

What gorgeous colors and great composition. This is truly beautiful and I love that you are cat person but also used to be a dog person.

Wonderful contrast in this piece, Celeste.

Doggy noise and exuberance didn't interrupt you too much during your painting session, I hope!

Oh my dogs would love this place! Looks like I'd be doing a tick search afterwards, for sure! Beautiful painting, my friend! Still no sketches, doodles, or paintings from me...I am feeling the exhaustion.

Glorious! Love the colours, and your simplification is always spot on, to capture the scene and mood. Very clever!
