I painted this today in a life-model session. Usually, I am shoulder-to-shoulder in a group of 10 -12 other painters, but today it was just two painters and our model. Super-pleasant and peaceful ....the time just flew by.

Fresh and you stopped before it became ordinary and tight...beautiful
I agree with page - this is lovely and fresh.
Lol, it can get crowded sometimes doing live sessions. Just two seems like you had a lot of room for sure.
Nice portrait Celeste.

Oh wow! This is amazing and I love how you "seem" to do portraits with few brushstrokes. To me you are a master.
Great color and use of light and shadow. xo Jenny
She is lovely! Great job in getting the light. Your brush strokes are loose and I like seeing them.
A lovely study Celeste!
And thank you so very much for your incredibly kind words that were left on my blog. You'll never know how much they help.
Love this... spontaneous and fresh !
Celeste!
Love your use of paint and light!
Wonderful portrait and wonderful work of art!
Nice!

Vibrant, interesting - very beautiful portrait. How long did you have to do this? What wild goose chase did you send all those other artists on? ;)
Beautiful work, Celeste!! I love the colors and I like that she's looking down...VERY nice job.
