Monday..."Fix your Painting Day"

Today we assembled at Karen Lewis' house for "Fix your Painting Day." It was satisfying to make changes to old paintings that  had been relegated to the eh stack. I worked on 4 paintings and think they are all better than they were. I still have some work to do on one in particular, but I especially liked how the new shadow in this painting seem to pull it together. To see all the results from the day ....go HERE.

Painting: Celeste Bergin, Festive Flowers, oil on 10x10 gallery wrapped canvas

Des fleurs et des couleurs qui dansent... Un joli bouquet champêtre.
Nous ne sommes jamais complètement satisfaits de nos oeuvres.
Le travail de l'ombre est effectivement une très belle réalisation.
Gros bisous à vous.

The work of the shadow is a wonderful achievement.
Big hugs to you.

(Thanks, Martine!)

Great idea, and some of the outcomes are splendid. I particularly liked the light and colour in the one here!
