Tuesday!

Yesterday I had another opportunity to paint a live model. Initially she wore glasses but it was decided that she would remove them, just so that we could get a good start. The idea was that we would add the glasses eventually. As time went on, however,  no one asked her to replace her glasses. She looked like a 'hot librarian' both with and without her spectacles....lots of fun to paint.

Hot librarian? Hilarious!
The deep red lips do add a sexy implication. Great portrait.

She has a Grace Kelley look about her. I like the spontaneity.

I was going to say glamour girl. She is lovely! Has a glamorous June Cleaver look.

She seems to have a classic 1940's post war look. I like the clean lines and the seemingly easy simplicity of the work although I know it takes years to manage this way of using paint. Keep on painting Celeste!
