Tuesday!

oooooo I feel so lucky I got to be in on this model session. We had a pro model who struck a wonderful moody pull/lean/twist pose.  We had great lighting too. I have my fingers crossed that I get to paint him again in the future...!

Painting: Celeste Bergin, Life Model, oil on 16x20 stretched canvas

And you did indeed capture the "moody," Celeste. But then you always do. This is a fabulous piece!

This definitely has moodiness...I really like it. The towel you painted is excellent and his pose very relaxed.

Gorgeous light, once again. This model sounds like a trooper! I'd love to find a good model and stick with them, like so many masters did and still do.

I enjoyed admiring the painting. Your Sargent practice is paying off and the brushwork is fabulous. I love the sunburn lines from his T-shirt on his arms

Some people are just naturals at posing. It's amazing what an art that is!
Love the dreamy look you've given him. He was your muse.

Well done!
