Sunday!

The first day of Autumn--sweater weather and plenty of rain! This is a small study from Mt. Tabor.

I'm helping neighbor Randy with a project and I got to dog-sit his dog Jay-Jay for a little while. Jay-Jay likes to have his belly rubbed. I told him...."Jay-Jay, this is just the type of behavior that is sure to get you on my blog".

Painting: Celeste Bergin, From Mt. Tabor Park, oil on 7x5 canvas panel

The high key colors are brilliantly put together in this piece. You are so versatile Celeste. Yesterday's was brilliant too, but as a full contrast painting.
I enjoyed reading about your presentation yesterday and wished I could have been there. (I have to get that book!

Autumn has indeed arrived on Mt. Tabor. Such a softly beautiful piece, Celeste. Glad your speaking engagement went well and it was certainly something I could have used in my own artistic efforts. Love the painting you shared with that one...I get such a college vibe from it; makes me remember my youth a bit.

Jay Jay! Now a famous four legged friend:)

I saw the post earlier regarding your talk. I would have loved to have been there. And it is definitely Fall down here as well. Not sweater weather yet but getting there:)

Hello Celeste. I really could have benefitted from hearing you speak about staying motivated and painting daily. I am having a hard time getting started with so little time. The fact that you painted yesterday inspires me so...here I go.

Jay-Jay's not the only one who likes their belly rubbed. Looks good to me.

Great quicky. It has all the information I need to see what you saw.
