Hi Celeste,
Great lighting effect. It's pure Oregon and quite lovely.
You seem to be in quite the groove in recent months, putting out painting after painting with the most wonderful colors, compositions and lyrical brushstrokes.
You and Dave have a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year.
Sincerely,
Gary.

Celeste, I think this is the best of your best. The painting sings in every area enticing me to study it thoroughly. The light is perfect. Obviously you didn't labor over the painting, done alla prima. Kudos.

Your lighting has become very dramatic , again I thought about the Uudson Valley School. Nice to know about denatured alcohol. It's a must have for acrylics too. The Sargent copy looks great, but the drawing is unfamiliar to me. But I too loe the hat and the stash.
