Thursday!

It's not raining today....but I re-vamped this painting from awhile back. I'm thinking I might add yet more paint to it after this layer dries. I also went to Art Discussion today--to see all the paintings that showed up...go HERE.

Painting, Celeste Bergin, Downpour, oil on 12x24 stretched canvas

Your rain paintings are always a joy to see. And I love seeing all the paintings in the art group. Wish we had one here.

I love your rainy day paintings. In this one, I have to wonder what lurks beyond!

This has a very special ethereal feeling which makes me wonder about the figure. About what is she thinking? To where is she headed? Why is she alone in the rain? A painting that causes the viewer to ask questions, in my opinion, is an outstanding painting. Kudos to you Celeste.

Such a strong moody piece. I think I want to go find a good old black and white movie to watch today!
