Go Seahawks!

I'm still enjoying my gouache paints. Today I am using just black and white and a little charcoal. (........You know, I'll be rooting for the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday!)

I was thinking of you during this Super Bowl run Celeste. I was waiting to see if you would come out in support The Seahawks! Good luck! Love this one!

good one, Celeste. It amazes me how black and white tells the story so well. Go Hawks!

Well, I am from Niner country so I will be watching fairly neutrally. Great sketch. Gouache is a fun medium. Have a wonderful Super Bowl Sunday Celeste.

Running Back Aches
Muscles flexed, holding on,
go to aches, go, go, go;
eyes focused, straight ahead,
the brush flies, go, go, go;
keep going, back then right,
black then white, go, go, go;
don't forget, under eyes,
some charcoal, go, go, go;
touch down, done, celebrate,
brush down, ah, go u ache..

Ooh, this is a nice piece, Celeste! I love the palette and the perspective/point-of-view on the football player is awesome! I too am rooting for the Hawks today.

I should get some gouache. It has a great look. The opaqueness sells it!
