Oh this looks so cozy I just want to curl up in that chair with a throw and a pillow and a good book. Funnily enough I've been toying with the idea of a similar composition from my living room. Beautiful painting, Celeste!

Lovely comforting glow in this Celeste. I keep wanting to paint an indoor, night time scene but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Big time! Must be fun!
Love the last two!
The painting of the model is beautiful. Your rendering the skin tones is fantastic! Love the red headband!
Love reading corner! So much great art on such a small surface! Wow!
Snow storms last couple of days! So good! So good!

This is something new for you. I don't recall any other interior scenes--with the exception of a red wingback chair--since I've been visiting. Very nice. It does glow with warmth.

Never a dull moment visiting your blog. This was unexpected and such a jolt of pleasure. Really love your range of blues.

Cozy is definitely the word for this scene. I'd love to have a reading chair and light exactly like you depict in your painting. So peaceful. Lovely light.

Brilliant homey painting. I want to sit in that chair. Yesterday my photographer neighbor came to my home to advise me on getting the light, composition etc. correct for my (hopefully) upcoming interior paintings. I have never done this before but I have you (as well as my neighbor) from whom I can learn. I love that you are doing so well and feeling good.

Nothing like a warm and cozy reading corner. I recently moved furniture around and we now have nice corner. My husband and I fight over the chair.

I love your pretty painting Celeste.
