The weekend...(part two)

Here is another sketch for my Sargent project. The thing I have learned by doing these is you really have to make the skin much darker than you think. The tendency is to draw or paint skin in a light tone....but if you make the skin too light....... you'll "have no place to go". 

I hope you are having a great weekend...did you do anything special?

Good point about the darker tones. Nothing can be as light as the highlight
I do forget that on fair skin.
