Tuesday!

Here is a study that I think could work as a finished painting...with just a few adjustments. Less is more!

Today I found myself downtown...so, I stopped in Gallery 903. (This is the side entrance).

Giant bronze mice in the front window. (by Georgia Gerber)

...my favorite wall was Mona Cordell's. The whole gallery is lovely.
(Wonderful to see art displayed with great sensitivity).

I love those mice! And how the art is displayed is important too-a real skill:)

Love that unexpected red in the tallest tree and the distant trees. Great light in this one too. Always you amaze me, Celeste. Beautiful. Wish I could have gone to the gallery with you!

Bonjour ma chère Céleste,
Telles des petites commères ces petites souris sont adorables... Toutefois gare aux minous !
Une visite sans doute agréable dans cette galerie...
Cette dernière étude me ravit. J'aime la profondeur qui invite mon regard. bravo !
Gros bisous

Enjoyed catching up with your always inspiring blog.
The reddish glow of your tree is fab next to the blue water and I love your brushwork.
You are so lucky living where you do. I so enjoyed visiting our son in West Lynn and going into Portland. He moved two years ago to a very different area so I missed the opportunity of meeting you. Bummer!

I think you are nearly finished too. This is indeed very loose. The gallery setting and art were great to include in your post.
