Weekend!

I've been cleaning my studio. It's an arduous task! I came across this unfinished painting and thought about painting it over, but it turns out that I like it just as it is. Sometimes unfinished is finished.

I also spent some time at my "Sargent station" today, drawing a Sargent portrait, but it needs more attention, so I will finish that one tomorrow. Recognize my assistant there on the right?

Hi Celeste,
I really like your Sargent station, especially since it included your assistant.
Looking through the window, it looks like Spring is nearly there. Nothing quite so lovely as Spring in Portland!
Finally...your rug looks like it should be living in Hawaii. :) No kidding, it would look great here.
Have a nice Sunday.
Sincerely,
Gary.

Somehow there is a real tactile sense to the pottery, Celeste. It is as though I can almost feel its texture on my fingers. Too, the color is wonderful! Always love seeing your Sargent pieces so I look forward to seeing it when you finish it. I also love how your windows are open to the natural light.

Unfinished is finished! Love that idea:) And a wonderful spot, your Sargent Station. Very sunny and it comes with a friend also:)

I so agree with you, sometimes unfinished IS finished. I think it's interesting and lovely.

Your assistant is doing his job well and I love your Sargent station!

Love the freshness of this painting. I think that is why we find what we thing is unfinished is really finished. Nice job of leaving it alone!

I too like your Sargent station--and your assistant. Often unfinished is finished. I haven't learned that yet. You're a good role model.

So very, very good Celeste! A great work of art buddy!
Finished? Unfinished? I usually don't have a clue. Most of the time I just stop! (
Often years after I stopped I find something more to do!) Bravo to you!
