It's Monday!

I touched up this Monet-inspired painting today.

We stopped by Peterson Hall at Linfield College today....to have a look at the photography exhibit about icebergs.

This photo in the center was my favorite in the exhibit. It looked like a ship. (The whole show was worth seeing!) What are you doing today? :)

(Top Photo) Painting: Celeste Bergin, On the River, oil on 16x8 gallery wrapped canvas. Purchase information here).

Bonjour chère Céleste,

Merci de m'inviter à cette charmante visite au musée... Je suis certaine que vous y avez passé un excellent moment.
Une nouvelle peinture éblouissante et flamboyante.
Gros bisous

On the River has a lovely impressionist feel to it. I love the color in your clouds especially.
That iceberg in the middle is unbelievable with such a sharp edged shape Neat to know there is a show recording icebergs. You live in such a great cultural area.

HArd to believe that those objects which look so man-made are really so natural! Wish I could see that in person. And your "touch up" looks great!

Gorgeous pinks in your painting Celeste! The photo on the right caught my eye...that pop of blue color. Neat exhibit.

Glistening waters, glowing sun, heading into dusk, methinks. Beautiful painting, Celeste! Love the photos of the icebergs and yes, that one does look like a ship!
