Tuesday!

...A little misty rain fell when I plucked some Camellias from the backyard to bring inside to paint. Camellias are so nice, they bloom during the "off-season".

Painting, Celeste Bergin, White Camellias, oil on 24x18 stretched canvas (SOLD)

I am with Hilda - GORGEOUS painting!
I enjoyed catching up with some previous posts. The still life was rich with lovely color. The Van Gogh looked like...well...Van Gogh - great job... and your drawing in the cafe was really neat to see Three miles a perfect walk, eh?
Hope the rain clears up soon, but walking in a gentle rain can be such a pleasure if you are dressed for it.

This one is gorgeous! I like all of the clean colors, strokes and those edges!

We had a camellia tree at our old house. I always enjoyed that it bloomed during the winter. You have to look for that kind of stuff:)

Love the shadows and I must confess, I am dying to see what is in the box. The flowers are so beautiful too!

Gorgeous, gorgeous, GORGEOUS!!! I love the flowers, the composition and that vase you painted knocks my socks right off.
I'm sitting here, literally, with no socks. :-)
Stunning!

I love camellias too , and I love the impressionistic feel to this painting.

<White Camellias . . .

. . . are never just white,
titanium white,
are they? White flowers
are a joy to paint
with their nuanced hues,
here surrounded with
impressionism.
