Tuesday!

Today was the "maiden voyage" of a brand new organized group that paints on Tuesdays. Yay! We met at Anna Bananas in St. Johns and then went to Cathedral Park. The clearly obvious thing to paint there .....is the beautiful bridge.

It was an overcast day. No umbrellas needed!

A huge ship chugged past on the Willamette river.

To see more photos from the day.....go HERE. :)

Gros bisous

Wish I'd been there. It was pouring rain and windy here. I remember painting there and painting some tugboats across the way and the one that was most important quickly chugged away. Painting on site is so much fun. Love your painting from today!

Hello my dear Celeste,
The bridge is lucky to have this bridge fans like you! However, it deserves because its structure is beautiful.
I love the way you captured it. Shades of colors create a striking contrast.
A wonderful artistic moment.

Good group. Great bridge. I am a pushover for steel structures feathered by landscaped.

Quite often it occurs to me how very lucky we artists are to be artists! I so love this bridge painting! I love the photo of you working! The colors in the bridge are amazing! If you get a chance check out fellow art blogger David J. Teter, "Avid Art Blog! He paints industrial landscapes, bridges, trains and so much more.
