Sunday (Day Two, Za Vue Workshop)

Today in Za Vue's workshop we worked on features. We painted from projected slides and from live models. Here the model had a red scarf on her head, but the session ended before I got to the headwear.

I learned about sculpting shapes...instead of rendering.

I really enjoyed the workshop. It was challenging and fun. Za is just the best!

Lunchtime at the Venetian...what did we talk about?  Guess?---(Painting!)

What amazing pieces, Celeste!! The top one reminds me of old images of nurses from long, long ago. Love each painting you've shared here (perfect noses and lips too)...

Have to say, loving your hair!! (I made the image large to better see your pretty face!)

Looks like a workshop I would have enjoyed. I like the white-of-the-canvas scarf better than if it were painted red. She looks like a renaissance milk maid. Nice work. Wish I'd been there.
