Friday!

Our Thursday art discussion meeting was about "starting a painting". This is one of the color studies I showed. To see what everyone else brought...go HERE. Also, Thursday evening there was an Artist's Reception for our Alla Prima Portland First Annual Invitational Group Show. It was so much fun! Photos from the event....HERE. Happy Weekend, Art friends! What are your plans?

Great light and shadow, worthy of Vermeer. I love the silhouetted person...I find this piece rather mysterious and I wonder what that guy (or girl) is up to, where is he/she going?

Hi Celeste - this is a wonderful painting , full of light and color. Two of my favorite things.
I enjoyed ( as usual) seeing what your talented group does. Wish I had the energy to start a group like that here.
Such an inspiration to grow and achieve more through encouragement and sharing.

Hello Celeste!
Love all your latest posts!
I love the way you paint! So very loose. I love the painterly effect you achieve so well! I also love hearing about your art group.
Take care.
Michael

I'd like to see this one in person! So simple, but it is all there.
