Weekend!

On Thursday I went to the usual art discussion meeting. The topic was "darkest dark and/or black". To see what all the artists brought....go HERE

I sure enjoyed all of the comments about using "black." and getting the darkest darks. Funny how many of us have the same ideas about things.

Very dramatic painting too! Dare I say a nice use of darks? LOL:)

This looks like Florida to me. Love the swishiness-ness of this one.

Do you know, I just love your group up there. I always see what the others have painted and always read your minutes - there are always nuggets of wisdom there.

What a beautiful painting of morning light! The yellows are beautiful and lend to warmth, while the silhouetted trees speak of the shadows of night.
