Tuesday!

I bought a bouquet at the grocery store today and painted it in the back yard this afternoon. The sun was out in full force. So quiet out there..just me and the wind chime my friend Loretta recently gave to me.

In the summer things dry fast at my "drying station" in the front room!
....Are you enjoying your summer?

Gorgeous painting! Your florals are always wonderful.

My summer is going great- lots of motorcycling and lots of drawing.

Very nice to be outside painting in the great weather! And beautiful flowers and light filled results. Lucky girl:)

I can almost feel the sunshine from your painting and also a little bit of fall in the air too. Those fall reds and yellows and deep greens. My summer is going too fast. I've been mostly just hanging out close to home, writing picture book stories and I just bought a new drawing table and I've been taking part in a summer writing challenge group thing online. Wanting to make some art now.

This was so bright on my tiny phone screen that I almost thought you were dabbling in watercolors! I think it was because of the white of the canvas or ground that you allowed to shine through, much as a watercolorist would do it. Fee, fun, light, airy - beautifully done!
